A Rochester man has entered into a plea agreement in a brutal domestic assault case.

29-year-old Abdullahi Omar Sheikh admitted to a felony terroristic threats charge in connection with an incident in April during which he was accused of tying up his wife and assaulting her over a period of about two hours. Police say the woman was whipped with an electrical cord, which left her body covered with bruises.

Four other charges, including second-degree assault, were dismissed through the plea agreement. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled on October 6th.
