Pokémon GO Halloween Event!

Remember the big craze earlier this year when Pokémon GO was released and the town was flooded with pocket monsters and aspiring new trainers? We even did a video on it listing various places around downtown where you can train to become the very best!

Well the game is still around and everyone who still plays it is in for a treat with their Halloween event going on until November 1st. The event boosts the appearance of spooky Pokémon such as ghost types like Ghastly and Haunter as well as a few rare Pokémon such as Marowak and Gengar. If you are looking for these Pokémon to catch and train or for your Pokédex, this is the perfect time for you to go out and walk and play!

Even better, the amount of Poké-candy you receive for various tasks are increased so it's even easier to train your Pokémon. One of the newest features in Pokémon GO was the buddy system where you can select a Pokémon and walk with it to pick up a piece of candy for it after a certain amount, and during this even the amount needed to walk is cut down to a quarter of the original amount! This is perfect for those needing only a few more candy to evolve or raise their Pokémon's combat power.
