Armed with coffee and signs, 25 members and supporters of Communities United for Rochester Empowerment (CURE) protested outside of Mayo Clinic on Monday, Nov. 20.

CURE is calling on Mayo Clinic to be more actively involved in creating more affordable housing in Rochester.

"I'm asking for Mayo Clinic because Mayo Clinic owns the city," said Xenmerrie Estrella, a CURE member. "I’m [also] asking for the city council and developers to help us solve this problem too – to come together at the table. They did say we are invited to the table, [but] I’m asking them to not bully us and to allow 10 members in the meeting. We need more voices."
