GoGo squeeZ CEO, Michel Larroche, issued an apology on the company's website saying, “I can’t begin to express how sorry we are that this happened, and we appreciate your patience and support.”

The popular brand of children's applesauce was recalled after "food product residue" was found in pumps during a recent inspection. No illnesses have been reported at this time.

Consumers who purchased GoGo squeeZ® applesauce pouches with Best Before Dates between 12/4/15 and 3/4/17 can contact the company at 1-844-275-5841 or visit voucher.gogosqueez.com to request a replacement.

The recall does not include GoGo squeeZ Organic products or GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ®.

The company says production of the recalled product has been suspended while an investigation is conducted.
