RECALL ALERT: Johnsonville Cheddar & Bacon Grillers

Johnsonville has recalled the frozen variety of its Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Grillers because they may contain metal fragments. In a statement posted on their website the company says, "At Johnsonville, we are committed to delivering the highest quality products and we take the safety and integrity of our products very seriously. One of our products, Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Grillers (frozen variety), is part of a voluntary recall because it may contain metal fragments."

There have been no reports of injuries or illness at this time.

The recall is limited to 6-count cartons of ¼ lb. Johnsonville Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Grillers, with a “Best Flavor By” date of 12/29/15 and an establishment number of “EST425B.” The product was made shipped to 11 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin.
