Look, everyone knows SOMEONE who has a son or daughter who owns a pair of light-up shoes. So, make their shoes aren't the ones that need to be recalled, before it's too late!

Payless ShoeSource said Tuesday it's pulling all of its boys 'Jake Lighted Runner' light-up shoes from the shelves while authorities investigate a report that a Texas toddler's shoes ignited and burned out the backseat of the family SUV.  Thankfully, no one was hurt!

I see a ton of my friends' kids run around with their light-up shoes all the time. I would feel so guilty if I didn't pass this story along to them knowing it could save their child from a world of pain if there shoes were the ones in question.
