Report of Man With Gun Leads to an Arrest
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police arrested a 22-year-old man early Saturday after officers were called to a neighborhood near Riverside Elementary School to investigate reports of a man with a gun.
A spokesman says a resident also reported hearing a gunshot when the man apparently fired the weapon into the air around 1 a.m.
The responding officers located the man, who was taken into custody on a weapons related charge after he was caught in the possession of a handgun.
