Rochester Boarder Set to Represent Minnesota in X Games
The X Games start today in Minneapolis, and we are rooting for our Rochester native.
Alec Majerus is originally from Rochester, and moved to California to become a pro. “He grew up skating in basements, garages and the cold, windy streets of Rochester, giving him a versatility and resilience other skaters can’t match.” According to his X Games bio.
Alec won Tampa Am in 2012, took third as a pro in 2014, and finished fourth at both XG Austin 2015 and XG Oslo 2016. We are excited to see what he can do with the “home field advantage.”
