An Arizona businessman has been hired as the new president of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Miller succeeds John Wade, who left the Chamber earlier this year to become a partner and general manager of Clements Chevrolet.

Miller is a Sheboygan Wisconsin, native and former CEO and president of the Arizona Trade exchange,an online marketplace for business-to-business barter that generates $8 million in annual revenue. Miller, who was selected through a six-month, nationwide search, will officially report for work in Rochester within the next 30 days.

“We are very excited to welcome Rob aboard the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and to our community. His passion for business, both large and small, is evident,” says RACC Board Chair Brent Buchan. “He is an enthusiastic listener who is ready to share a vision and lead with consensus, and I expect him to energize those around him at this exciting time in Rochester’s history. Rob brings a reputation for hard work, integrity, and sincerity that will make him a great fit for us.”
