Rochester Drug Bust Yields 10-Pounds of Pot

An investigation started by the U.S. Postal Service led to a raid on a Rochester home Tuesday afternoon. Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Tom Claymon says members of the Southeast Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of 11th Avenue Northeast and seized over 10-pounds of marijuana. A 30-year-old man was arrested on drug charges, while Clayman says a 22-year-old man was taken into custody for a probation violation. In addition to the drugs, officers also confiscated about $3500 in cash, a number of guns, and a vehicle.
