Rochester Named on of the Best Places to Live in 2017

Rochester ranks high on the list of Best Places to Live in 2017 which was just released.

The list, published by niche.com, ranked over 200 cities across the county. Several  factors including location, quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends and employment statistics to determine the best places to live.

Rochester ranked #18 and received 117 reviews, including the one that was featured from a current resident which read: "A medium-sized city with a small-town feel! Amenities meet Minnesota-nice (which indeed is a real thing!) Wonderful walking and biking paths, beautiful weather, and a deep focus on environmental health."

Ann Arbor Michigan took the top spot for 2017.

This isn't the first time Rochester has been recognized for being an outstanding community to live in. Earlier this year, the website livability.com named Rochester the number one best place to live.
