Rochester Man Accused of Exploiting Vulnerable Adult
A Rochester man has been charged with stealing money from a vulnerable adult who had been living in a local group home.
The criminal complaint against 44 year old Jeffrey Amundson says he had power of attorney and was in charge of the man’s financial affairs.
An investigation found Amundson had taken more than $18,000 of the man’s money for his personal use. The complaint says the money was taken between June 2011 through December 2013.
Amundson has been ordered to make his first court appearance in March.
