Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - A Rochester man was arrested Thursday after threatening to shoot a woman and her dog - and then the officers who took him into custody.

Police were called to a residence in the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue SE near the Seneca plant around 7:45 a.m. A woman at the residence told officers 46 year old Mikeal Odell had complained about her dog’s barking. She says Odell first threatened to kill her dog and then threatened to shoot her.

As he was being arrested, Odell told the officers he was going to get a gun and shoot them. He did not have a gun on him.
