30 year-old Andrew William Felten of Rochester was charged with interfering with privacy on April 1. The charges include two felony and two gross misdemeanor counts.  He is accused of using his cell phone to take pictures and video of members of a Mankato dance studio bathroom.

Felten was an employee at the neighboring business and the bathroom was a shared space.

Spotlight Dance Company co-owner Brittany Umbreit told The Mankato Free Press that when it was realized Felten was spending an unusual amount of time in the common area, a staff member was assigned to supervise dancers in the common area.Umbeit told the Free Press, "I’m proud of our staff and students for being so alert of a stranger.”

KEYC TV reported that the criminal complaint said, multiple girls ranging from 7 to 14 years old reported seeing Felten crouch near a gap in the bathroom stall and take photos and videos of the girls with his cell phone last month.

Felten is currently on probation for a sexual conduct charge that happened in Rochester in 2010.
