Rochester Man Charged In Sex Case Involving 14 Year Old Boy
A criminal complaint was filed Tuesday morning in Olmsted County Court against a Rochester man who police say was caught in bed with a 14 year old boy Sunday.
The complaint charges 44 year old Christopher Holloway with one count of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.
Police were contacted around 5 a.m. Sunday by the boy’s mother who said she had found Holloway in bed with her son and both were naked. Holloway fled, but left behind his boxer shorts. He was caught by police a short while later and after being identified by the boy’s mother, was taken into custody.
The teen told investigators he met Holloway on a social media site Friday night. The teen says Holloway wanted to come to his house and he agreed. He says Holloway showed up around 2:30 Sunday morning while his mother was asleep upstairs. The teen told police they had sex before his mother found them in bed.
Holloway is the owner of the Press Coffee and Tea Lounge located in the 300 block of South Broadway in the downtown.
His bail was set at $30,000 during his court appearance and he has been ordered not to have contact with the teenager or anyone under the age of 18.
