Rochester Man Demands Debt Payment from Woman – or Sex
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A dispute over money landed a Rochester man in jail early Friday.
Rochester police were sent to the Fairview Apartments near the county fairgrounds late Thursday night after a female tenant reported she had been in a confrontation with a man who also lives in the building.
The woman told officers 37-year-old James Austin had forced his way into her apartment and demanded the money she owed him - or that she have sex with him. The two got into a struggle before Austin left.

Officers went to Austin’s apartment and even though they could see him inside, he refused to answer the door. A few hours later, the officers obtained a search warrant, entered the apartment and took Austin into custody.
