Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man with a long history of DUI arrests has been sent to prison again for his latest conviction.

Sentenced to nearly 7 years in prison was 57 year old Scott Edward Brown. He pleaded guilty last week to a felony DUI charge.The conviction required a prison sentence because of an earlier felony DUI conviction. He was given a 5 year prison sentence for the 2011 conviction.

Brown’s latest arrest happened February 28th when a county deputy found him sitting in his vehicle in the Oronoco area. He had driven the vehicle into a ditch. He was arrested after a preliminary breath test showed his blood/alcohol level was .226.

When told what the reading was, Brown told the deputy it was “ too low. “

He was also cited for driving without a license.
