A teenager who was skateboarding through the park area of the civic center Monday night says he was confronted by a group of 5 - 6 males and knocked to the ground where he was assaulted. The teen says one of the attackers held a gun to his face and robbed him of his cellphone and $50 in cash. Police later received a tip from an anonymous source that the man with the gun was Deng and the teen made a positive ID through a photograph.

The other mugging took place Tuesday night when a man was attacked by a group of males. He told police he was also knocked to the ground and assaulted - and also had a gun pointed at him before the men took his backpack, which contained his cellphone and some other items.
