Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester teenager is scheduled to be sentenced in July for his latest conviction stemming from Facebook posts.

18-year-old Devontae Wilson was arrested in April after he posted a video on the social media site that showed him smoking pot and holding a gun. Wilson was on probation for a previous felony conviction, which made it illegal for him to possess a firearm. Alerted by the Facebook post, officers stopped Wilson as he was leaving his apartment and found a loaded handgun in his backpack. He pleaded guilty Friday to a felony charge of illegal possession of a firearm.

His earlier felony conviction was connected to a similar Facebook post and a threat that was directed at an Olmsted County deputy last October.
