Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) -  The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of the Rochester man who was fatally injured Friday evening when the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer.

The incident happened around 7:15 p.m. on Highway 52, near the Highway 63 or South Broadway interchange.

The Patrol says 40 year old Timothy Myhre was taken to St. Mary’s where he died.  He was not wearing a helmet. The Patrol says the 2009 Harley Davidson he was driving was totaled.
