Rochester Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Rochester police are investigating an armed robbery. A spokesman says a 79-year-old man reported that he was robbed of his prescription painkillers by a man who held a gun to his chest.

Investigators believe the robber and an accomplice knew the victim. Police are still looking for both men involved in the incident, which occurred around 11:30 Monday morning near the Valhalla Park Condominium complex along Elton Hills Drive Northwest.

Additional information could be released Tuesday morning.
