Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) A Rochester man and his girlfriend were shaken up but not hurt early Monday morning when a bullet struck the vehicle they were in.

 The incident happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of 55th street and Bandel Road.

The man told police he had just left the nearby Holiday convenience store and moments later heard three shots fired from a passing vehicle. One round struck the driver’s side of the man’s vehicle. Police recovered three shell casings.

The 20 year old man was not able to provide a good description of the vehicle the shots were fired from and he told officers he has no idea why he was targeted.
