Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - At last report, a shooting suspect was still being sought by Rochester police.

 Police received a 911 call just before 6 p.m. Wednesday about a burglary in progress from a residence in the 3800 block of 14th Ave NW. The female caller said a male intruder attacked a man inside the residence and shot the victim in the right leg. The man then fled. He is described as black, 30-35 years old, 6 - 6.4” tall, 220-250 lbs with very short dark hair.

At this time, police believe this was not a random attack and there is no immediate threat to the public. The 30 year old man who was shot was taken to St Mary’s for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
