Rochester police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this week, but wasn't reported until Thursday.

A spokesman says 30-year-old Miguel Garza was taken into custody Thursday after a 26-year-old man identified him as the person who fired two bullets into the back of his vehicle on Monday at the Oak Terrace Estates Mobile Home Park along Marion Road Southeast. Police learned of the shooting when they arrested the victim on a warrant in a burglary case. The man indicated he didn't report the incident because he knew he was being sought by police.

Investigators found a gun in Garza’s car and what appeared to be two bullet holes in the back of the victim’s car.
