Rochester Teen Gets 6 Years For Role in Fight
A Rochester teenager has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for his role in a large brawl
that took place last year in the Diamond Ridge neighborhood. 19 year old Christopher Smith was one of three teenagers accused of taking part in the incident that took place at a house party.
Police were told one of the teens was told to leave the party and he returned with Smith and another teen and a short while later, a fight erupted. At least two people were hit over the head with a golf club. One of the victims had to undergo surgery for what was described as a life threatening brain injury.
Besides the prison sentence, Smith has also been ordered to pay restitution of more than $22,000. The criminal cases against the two others are pending.
