Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager was reported in critical condition at St. Marys Hospital Tuesday morning after being stabbed in the chest three times.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says the 17-year-old was stabbed after he and three friends forced their way into a party early Tuesday. Sherwin says two of the other three were stabbed once in the chest. Their injuries were not life-threatening. The fourth person may have suffered a serious head injury after being severely beaten. Two others involved in the melee suffered minor stab wounds to their hands.

Sherwin says the incident occurred just after midnight inside an apartment at 2825 56th St NW.

As of mid-morning Tuesday, police were still investigating and no arrests had been made.

Sherwin says it’s believed there was “bad blood between some of those involved in the incident.”
