Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man got himself into trouble early Monday after being caught in bed with a 14-year-old girl.

Police were contacted around 1:30 AM by the girl’s mother. She told police a loud noise woke her up and she went to the basement to check her daughter’s bedroom. She found a strange man wearing just shorts and socks in the room with her daughter, who was topless.

The mother yelled for her husband to grab his gun and come to the room and that’s when the man fled from the home, leaving behind the rest of his clothes, his phone and other items.

The man - 19-year-old Robert Vidales - was found by police a short distance away. He told officers the teen had invited him to her house.

He was expected to be charged with criminal sexual conduct.
