Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman was treated for knife wounds Monday night after getting into a confrontation with another woman outside a downtown hotel.

The 35 year old victim says she was outside the Center Street Hotel near the Mayo Civic Center around  7 p.m. when she got into a confrontation with the other woman, apparently over a former boyfriend. The victim says as they were struggling, the other woman took out a small knife and slashed her neck and cut one of her arms.

The victim went to Olmsted Medical Center Hospital where she was given stitches for her neck wound. The victim told police she is familiar with the other woman but doesn’t know her name.
