Saturday, June 20


Treasure Hunt

The "new" Treasure Hunt begins.  The finder will receive $1,000!  The Treasure is a gold medallion, hidden in the city of Rochester on public property. Saturday's first Bonus Clue is at Trade Mart Furniture Center!  Mystery Monday Bonus Clue at both Whistle Binkies Pubs.  Search, but don't destroy the natural beauty of Rochester or the Treasure hiding place.


Rochester Hangar Dance

Rochester Airport - General Aviation Field, 7300 Brataas Drive SW

9:00 a.m. The Minnesota Wing of the Commemorative Air Fore is Flying in 4 WWII Planes.  They will be availaable to view and/or ride until sundown.

5:30 p.m. Doors Open:  Mess hall food and cash bar, historical exhibitor booths, vintage vehicles, personal dog tag vendor, photos taken and available for purchase.

6:30 p.m. Free Professional Swing Dance Lesson provided by Dahl Dance Center featuring live Generation II Big Band

7:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies:  Color guard accompanied by the Rochester Caledonian Pipe Band, audience Pledge of Allegiance, Star Spangled Banner

7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Open dance

8:30 p.m. 1940s Grand March, prizes awarded for Best 1940s period dress
