If you're looking to wine and dine a date or an important client you have plenty of options in Rochester including Lord Essex. I can't personally endorse their steak because I'm living on a radio salary, but considering the price-tags you'd have to assume they're pretty tasty.

Lord Essex The Steakhouse, located in the Kahler Grand Hotel, is home to Rochester's most expensive steak. The "Excalibur" will set you back $110. This steak is huge and is actually meant for sharing. It's a 32oz. bone-in ribeye meant for two. Don't like sharing? Lord Essex also offers a 26oz T-Bone for $75. I'd love to know if these steaks are worth that much. If you've had one, leave a review in the comment section below.

Lord Essex is the second highest rated steakhouse in Rochester on Yelp. 300 First is the top place in town. The Half Barrel, Chester's, and Texas Roadhouse also made the top 5. You can read the reviews here.
