Rochester’s Most Unique Christmas Tree?

Christmas trees come in a lot of different varieties. Pine, spruce, fir and even... whisky barrel! If you've walked downtown on First Avenue SW near Historic Third Street SW, you've probably seen this, along the way.

The Half Barrel Bar and Kitchen has put their own unique spin on a Christmas tree. The "tree," which sits out in front of the establishment, is made from whiskey barrels. It stands at least twenty feet high and it is at least partially covered by greenery. And, as you would expect with any Christmas tree, it is covered with lights, ribbon and ornaments and there is even a gigantic star on top.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it certainly isn't the prettiest Christmas tree I've ever seen. However, I would say it is certainly one of the most unique I've ever seen!
