RPD Investigating Strange Incident

A Rochester woman out for a walk at Silver Lake Park last night had a scary

 - and bizarre -experience.

 The 22 year old has told police she was walking on the east side of the park near the pavilion around 7 o’clock when a man walked up, put his arms around her and then put a gun to her side.

The woman says the man began talking but never threatened or harmed her.  He ran off when some other walkers approached them.

She describes the man as white,  mid 30’s, 5-7, medium build with dark scruffy hair and beard.
