So much for the warmup in the Rochester area.   Temperatures climbed into the upper 30s and lower 40s Saturday but a blast of Arctic air moved into the region early Sunday.  Temps will continue falling into early Monday, dropping below zero before sunrise and then only rebounding into the single digits for the first day of December.

The National Weather Service says temperatures on Monday may average out as one of the top 5 coldest to start off the first day of December.

November will be one of the top ten coldest Novembers on record for the Rochester area as average daily temperatures were below normal most of the month.

Brisk winds that will continue into Monday will produce “ feels like “ temperatures or wind chill readings  that will be well below zero through most of the day.

Warmer weather is in the forecast by the end of the week.
