The winter storm that blasted through the Upper Midwest over the weekend sideswiped most of southern Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says snowfall totals across the region were generally in the 2 - 6 inch range with the highest amounts near the Iowa border.

Parts of Iowa and southern Wisconsin received 6 - 10 inches. Rochester’s official total was 2.4 inches.
