Season 3 of ‘Fargo’ to Begin Filming in Minnesota Soon

Early rumors say it could be just north of the Twin Cities.

With two successful seasons already in the books, FX is planning yet another story to share on the small-screen that will air sometime next year.

While season three of "Fargo" will be filming most of it's season in Canada, the producers also plan to shoot scenes in Minnesota as well.

Creator/writer/showrunner, Noah Hawley (pictured left), who was recently on a podcast on MPR's “Aw Jeez”, revealed the when and where.

Hawley told MPR he thinks season three will be set in St. Cloud, with some bits in Eden Valley.  He also said the new season would be set in 2010.  Last month it was announced that Ewan McGregor would be the star, playing a pair of brothers.
