Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Get ready for another traffic nightmare between Saint Marys Hospital and downtown Rochester this week.

Beginning Monday and running through Wednesday, crews from Elcor Construction will again be doing utility work connected to the Ronald McDonald House expansion project. The City Public Works Department says this will require restricting east and westbound traffic to a single-lane in each direction on 2nd Street between 7th and 9th Avenues Southwest. The work may also result in the temporary relocation of stops and some systemwide delays in the Rochester Public Transit System.

There will also be traffic disruptions on Civic Center Drive beginning Monday while crews resume work on the traffic signal system along the busy roadway. The signals at 4th, 11th, and 16th Avenues will be switched to all-way flashing red periodically between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm.
