Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man ended up in St. Marys Hospital Wednesday after causing a multi-vehicle traffic wreck near RCTC.

Rochester interim Police Chief John Sherwin says 48-year-old Gregory Beier was driving a pickup truck on Highway 14 around 4:00 PM when he rear-ended another vehicle and pushed it into the ditch. Beier’s truck also went into the ditch but came back onto the roadway, crossed the median and collided with three other vehicles.

Beier was reported in fair condition at St. Marys Thursday morning.

Sherwin says officers suspected he was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
