Is it time to shave your head?

Adam Levine, from The Voice. Actor Matthew McConaughey. Shai LeBouf. They've all buzzed their hair. Kanye West keeps his cut pretty short. I've been doin' the buzz cut m'se'f. Is it time for you to shave your head this Winter?

How do you know. It's. Time?

Maybe since we've seen the debut of the Man Bun, it's time.

GQ has a few tips for you to know it's time.

A few years ago, I shaved my head as a gag. There was an ice cream eating contest at Hy Vee. I was up against a true Champ; KTTC's Ted Schmidt. The bet was, if I lost, I would shave my head. Now, I look in the mirror and I like it.

One of the signs it's time to shave your head this winter is that you're losing your hair. Yep. That was me. So, yeah, I guess it was an easy bet. I had a thinning hair line and a bit of a bald spot in back. Just like my dad.

Dad made up for for having a bit of a chrome dome by growing the Elvis sideburns. Those bad boys were sculpted! But that was the '70's and '80's there's no way I could pull something like that off today.

The other sign it's time is you need a clean slate. Whether it's a relationship thing, or you don't want to be known as Comb Over or Man Bun; or, like my dad Sideburns, it might just be time to go for a new look. Now, Because it's Tuesday, is not enough of a clean slate. That's Shia LeBouf territory there, amigo.
