Simple (But Brilliant) Life Hacks When You’re Moving!

These are some great short-cuts to moving!

Here we go again...

One year and nine days later after moving back to Rochester from Fargo, my wife and I picked up our lives while filling up boxes and containers with our family's personal belongings...

Thankfully we only moved 6 miles down the road as opposed to 6 hours, but STILL, it's a lot of work!

I mean, let's be honest: There’s nothing fun about moving.  NOTHING.  You constantly lose stuff, forget where you packed other things and no matter how organized you think you are, you STILL feel completely lost and turned around.

Bottom line is that it’s an exhausting and extremely stressful experience that makes you wonder why you decided to swap addresses in the first place... especially with a four month old baby to take care of!

Well YouTuber Dave Hax is doing his part to make the nightmare that is moving just a little bit easier.

My wife and I actually used this video along with a few others to help pack up my apartment this time last year as well, and it really helped.  In the video, he’s got a lot of ideas that may have never cross your mind!

Dave does everything from creating makeshift handles on boxes to using linens to wrap delicate goods.  The one that really helped my wife and I was wrapping our clothes in garbage bags in order to keep them safe and organized during the move.  Genius!
