SocialICE Update

We have received a lot of calls and emails today from listeners concerned about the weather impacting SocialICE.

As they say in Hollywood... The show must go on! There might be a few puddles but the popular downtown Rochester event will continue today and tomorrow as planned. Join us from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. each day at the Peace Plaza. There will be a live DJ with more than 130 LED lights, live projection, and the main attraction - the bars and restaurants serving specialty drinks.

In 2009, approximately 200 people showed up for the first ever SocialICE, which at the time, featured only one ice bar. Last year, the number of attendees grew to over 46,000.  The goal this year is 50,000 so please let your friends know that the party is still on!

Chester’s Kitchen & Bar, The Loop, Victoria’s Restaurant, Grand Rounds Brewpub, Salute Wine Bar, Kathy’s Pub, and The Tap House.

SocialICE is the “hottest” cold event in Rochester, Minnesota.
