How it works is basically you fill up your cart, pull out your smart phone, pay right there and leave the store.

Initially for holders of Target's REDcard only, according to Recode, the service is expected to come to one or both of Target’s apps (the main app, or Cartwheel) and be available to customers in the next 11 months.

So what exactly it might look like, or when it’s available, are still unknown.

This isn't a new idea, as two of Target's competitors Walmart and Kohl's also have in-app store payments.

So are you looking forward to the new Target app?
