She's lucky to be alive.

The woman, who doesn't want to be identified, called this morning and told us she was riding in the passenger seat over the weekend when her vehicle was apparently shot at. The passenger window was hit. She assumes it was a hunter that wasn't paying attention to his/her surroundings. She told us that she didn't want to bash hunters but did want to remind them to be safe.

Her Facebook post described the incident and urged hunters to be careful:

"Please tell all the hunters you know to be careful. We were driving on Hwy 63 headed to Lake City this morning at about 11:30. Right where County Road 2 goes to the right there were some hunters in the pasture. As we're passing number 2 there is a big boom and the passenger window shatters. I was in the passenger seat. Very scary! Thank God we are both OK. Could have ended tragically. HUNTERS PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!"
