The Southland and LeRoy-Ostrander School Districts are under a 'soft-lockdown' after there was a potential threat that may or may not have come from someone in Adams, according to KAAL-TV.

Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi told the news station that there was"individual we need to speak to" in the Adams area. She believes that everyone will be safe, nobody is in danger and she wants to keep it that way.

Jeff Sampson is Superintendent at both Southland and LeRoy-Ostrander School Districts, and put both into lockdown because of the threat.

A soft-lockdown is when just the outside doors are locked, and the rest of the school day is going on as normal. No information is available at this time.
