If you're like me, you spend some time standing as part of your job. That's a good thing! University of Texas researchers have found that you and I standing around for six hours or more can cut fat levels by a third! Less sitting, more standing reduces the risk of obesity by 32%! Looking at the standing habits of 7,000 adult participants and comparing the Body Mass Indicator (BMI) found that guys that stand a quarter of the time reduced the chance of obesity by 32%! Standing half the time reduced it by 59%. Foe women, standing a quarter of the time reduced it by 35%, 47% standing half the time and three-quarters of the time reduced it by 57%! So, the more you stand the less chance you'll become obese.
