Stewartville Man Charged With Molesting Girl; Was He Sleepwalking?
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man has been charged with molesting a juvenile girl and apparently tried to blame his action on sleepwalking.
Two counts of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct have been filed against 39 year old Jonathan Janssen. He was arraigned Wednesday and his bail was set at $20,000.
According to the criminal complaint, the abuse took place several times in her bedroom. The girl told investigators Janssen talked to her later about the abuse and told her he “ sometimes sleepwalked “ and asked her if he had ever touched her while he was sleepwalking.
Janssen has been ordered back to court for another hearing August 12.
