Stewartville Man’s Death Now Described as Possible Hit and Run
The Minnesota State Patrol wants to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity when a Stewartville man was struck and killed while attempting to walk across Highway 52 in Cannon Falls Sunday night.
State Patrol Lieutenant Tiffani Nielson says the drivers of two cars that struck 42-year-old Patrick Daly stopped at the scene, but investigators believe several vehicles were in the immediate vicinity at the time and they are now describing the deadly incident as a possible hit and run.
The State Patrol is asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw Daly, or witnessed anything pertaining to the incident to contact the Minnesota State Patrol Rochester District at 507-285-7406. Nielson stresses investigators would like to hear from anyone might have any information, no matter how minor it might seem.
