Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who was pulled over for a routine traffic violation Sunday is now facing a long list of charges.

Police Captain John Sherwin says 29-year-old Duane Calhoun was stopped near the Boys and Girls Club after an officer noticed  he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Calhoun stopped his car behind his house and told a 6-year-old child who was in his vehicle to go inside. Sherwin says Calhoun then punched the officer and went inside his house.

Other officers were called to the scene and Calhoun was eventually arrested. A preliminary breath test showed he had a blood/ alcohol concentration of .11.
