If you're going trick-or-treating this Halloween, you'll probably see a few houses with teal pumpkins sitting outside.

Placing a teal pumpkin outside is simply a way for you to show kids that you are handing out non-candy treats like glow-sticks or small toys. Why would you do this?

The Teal Pumpkin Project was started a few years ago to help families with kids who have food allergies.

1 out of every 13 children suffer from some type of food allergy so this is a nice way to make sure they're enjoying the Holiday too.
