“Tender” is a new app designed for foodies.

It allows you to browse through endless pictures of meals and it works the same way the hook-up app "Tinder" does. Swipe left if you're uninterested.  Swipe right on food photos you like to save the recipe.

The app was created by Jordan Homan, Necco Ceresani, and David Blumenfield— three fiends who met as freshman roommates at the College of Charleston in South Carolina and bonded over their love of cooking food.

They were interviewed by boston.com and said, “As a twenty-something, we are all constantly combating the impulse to just eat-out or pick something up, but Tender gets you psyched about the prospect of making food, and it makes it easy to do so.”

The guys say they're still working out some kinks and always trying to make the app better.

Eventually they want to add an undo button for those who mistakenly swiped left on a recipe they actually liked.  They'd also like to add filters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes. Another possible improvements would be adding nutritional information for recipes and a way to create a digital grocery list for the recipes you've liked.
