This might be hard to remember the next time you're waiting 80 minutes for your room temperature steak, but it's not always your server's fault that your service is sucking so hard.

Steven and Makenzie Schultz went to a new restaurant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa last weekend.  When it took 20 minutes to get their water, another 40 minutes to get their appetizer and another 60 to get their meals, they did what most, by then, angry customers don't: THEY LOOKED AROUND.

After noticing their server was the only one handling a dozen tables and was pulling double duty as the bartender, they decided that instead of shafting him on a tip, they'd give him a REALLY GOOD tip!  Why would they empathize with their server so much? They both used to be servers and now have a successful restaurant of their own.

They posted this pic of their receipt on Facebook, asking people to remember the context of situations before making a rush to judgement.  So far, this friendly reminder has received over 1.5 million likes as of this posting!
